For my seventh year in a row at the HR Technology® Conference, I had the pleasure of presenting on the complexities of recruiting technology today. Every year a new layer of options, ideas, solutions are introduced and every year I struggle with how to categorize the creative and strategic solutions that have been introduced. This year I focused my efforts on the so-called “edge solutions,” most outside the Applicant Tracking System. These include applications for attracting, assessing and evaluating potential talent. I did my best to categorize the solutions and talk about which vendors are at the top of their games in the new categories. I hope to continue the collaboration and discussion here as Talent Function Group works to educate and drive greater adoption and client success with the technology available today.
