Leading the Recruitment Cycle
For experienced recruiters, the next level of performance is function of their influence. A hiring manager should experience the recruiter as the leader of the recruitment project from the first minute of introduction. This workshop assesses a recruiter’s influence and then provides a set of tools for asserting strong leadership. This workshop weaves the fundamentals of recruiting into scenario-based exercises. The course material includes:
- An index for assessing your influence
- Running an effective intake meeting
- Change patters to drive hiring manager clarity
- Managing objections and roadblocks
- Building the right level of rapport
- An introduction to advanced sales techniques
- Managing the candidate funnel smartly
Students will leave with concrete tools for increasing their influence with their hiring managers. Effective recruiters lead.
Mark McMillan is a co-founder of Talent Function and is a recognized thought leader in talent acquisition. Mark’s Talent Strategist Series combines best practices in recruitment with executive coaching concepts. Mark works as an executive coach and he is practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Shane Metcalf works as an executive coach and workshop leader. Shane specializes in coaching entrepreneurs and service professionals. Shane is also a practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming as the basis for his coaching style. In 2010, Shane spent over 300 hours teaching workshops.
