Laura joined Talent Function in 2017 and has been in love with the work (and team) ever since. She has a strong passion for enabling global HR teams with processes, tools and technologies that support their business objectives and growth. With a penchant for recruiting operations and technology, she engages with her clients to re-imagine processes and technology solutions to enhance the experience for the candidate, hiring manger and recruiter.
She has a deep understanding of system development, implementation and administration along with agile scrum principles and practices and innovative design thinking. Laura’s work is informed by several years of managing a variety of complex projects that have afforded her opportunities to unpack process details and re-engineer them to improve business results. She is specifically attuned to the challenges of striking the right balance between process and technology.
Her career has spanned multiple roles in Fortune 100 companies including Staffing Operations and Systems Lead, HR Service Delivery Manger, Staff Business Systems & Process Analyst, Workforce Planning Program Manager and Recruiter. Laura has developed an empathetic perspective when it comes to engaging with her clients. Some of Laura’s key initiatives have been designing custom solutions for applicant tracking, onboarding and talent performance as well as implementing SaaS and iPaaS solutions that required process and technology current state analyses and future state recommendations. Some project outcomes include increased speed of productivity by implementing real time data integrations, automation of manual processes, launch of a global, scalable, branded recruiting solution and institutionalization of a corporate workforce planning program.
Laura strives to be a strong thought partner and has an energetic spirit for understanding the client’s business needs and translating them into creative HR solutions. Systems experience includes: Oracle Taleo, ADP VirtualEdge, Workday, Avature, PeopleFluent, SmashFly, RolePoint, JIRA, and Force.com
Laura holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from UCLA and is the recipient of Intuit’s Scott Cook (founder) Innovation Award for an improved headcount requisition process and is ICAgile Certified.
